The short version
- Castmanor is a place for adults to talk with AI characters. They are fiction, not people.
- Bring only what you have the right to use, be decent, and keep it legal.
- It is free for now, and it comes as it is.
What Castmanor is
Castmanor is a service where you talk with AI characters, by text and by voice. By using it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
Castmanor also has short episodes. They are made with AI too: the people, voices and pictures in them are not real.

Castmanor is independent. We are not affiliated with any other app, service or brand you may mention or bring here, and their names belong to their owners.
Who can use it
You must be 18 or older, or older still if the age of adulthood where you live is higher (it is 19 in South Korea). We ask for your month and year of birth, and you agree to tell the truth. If you are under that age, you may not use Castmanor. If we think you are under 18, we may limit or close your account, and you can ask a person to look again.
AI characters
- Every character is an AI. Characters are fictional: they are not real people, and what they say about themselves is part of the story.
- They can be wrong, and they can say things that are untrue or that you did not expect.
- They are not doctors, lawyers, therapists, financial advisers or any other kind of professional. Nothing a character says is medical, legal, mental-health or financial advice.
- Castmanor is not for emergencies. If you or someone else is in danger, call your local emergency number. Our Safety page lists help lines.
Your account
You get an account, without a name or password, when you pass the age check. It lives in the browser on your device. If you lose that device or clear its data before you save your account, you can lose your chats.
To keep access, save your account with your email in Settings. Please keep your sign-in codes to yourself.
What you bring and write
You can bring chats, screenshots and character files to Castmanor, and make your own characters. Only bring things you have the right to use.
These are not allowed:
- Characters based on real people, famous or private, living or dead.
- Sexual content involving minors, or characters who are minors or are written to seem like minors.
- Anything illegal.
- Harassing or threatening anyone.
We may remove content or close accounts that break these rules.
Who owns what
Castmanor's house characters, software and name belong to Castmanor. You may use them through the service, for yourself.
You keep the rights to what you write. You give us permission to store and process it so we can run and protect the service for you, and to use it to improve our own characters as the Privacy page describes. That includes sending it to the AI models that write the replies, voices, memory notes and stories. If you choose to share a scene or a story with a link, you agree that anyone with the link can read it until you stop sharing.
Free for now
Castmanor is free to use right now. We may change, limit or end any feature, or the whole service, at any time. You can export your chats from Settings whenever you like.
No promises, and limits on our responsibility
Castmanor comes as it is. We work hard on it, but we do not promise that it will always work, always be available or be free of mistakes, or that characters will be accurate or right for you.
As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, for lost chats or data, or for decisions you make because of what a character said. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.
Which law applies
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, except where the law of the country where you live gives you rights that cannot be waived.
Leaving
You can stop any time by deleting your account in Settings. Our Privacy page explains what happens to your data.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top. If you keep using Castmanor after a change, you accept the new terms, so please check back now and then.
